translatd never stores what you paste. Code or prompts go to the model, the translation comes back, and only a daily counter is kept.
Questions
What does translatd translate?
It translates code and AI prompts, not human languages. You paste a snippet or a prompt and pick a target, either a programming language such as Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust or SQL, or an AI platform format. AI returns the converted version plus a one sentence note naming the most important decision it made during the conversion.
Is translatd free and does it store my code?
It is free for 15 translations per day, each up to 2,000 characters, with no account. What you paste is never stored. It goes to the AI model, the translation comes back, and only a daily counter is kept. A Pro plan at 5 dollars a month with 10,000 characters per translation is planned but cannot be bought yet.
How do I convert code from one programming language to another?
Paste the code, choose the target language and pick a mode. Literal keeps the original structure and names as closely as the target allows. Idiomatic rewrites it in the style normally used in the target language. Annotated does the same and adds short comments explaining what changed and why. Always test the converted code before relying on it.
